Fairmont, West Virginia – Fairmont State University is pleased to announce that Robin Capehart, former president of West Liberty University and Bluefield State University, will be the guest speaker for the Entrepreneurial Leadership and AI class on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The event will take place at 206D Jaynes Hall at 9:00 a.m.
Capehart, who successfully led both institutions from college to university status, is renowned for his strategic vision and innovative approach to higher education. During his tenure, he achieved record enrollment and fundraising, and introduced the first graduate programs at both universities. His contributions have had a lasting impact on the educational landscape of West Virginia.
In addition to his administrative accomplishments, Capehart is the author of the influential book, "Entrepreneurship of the College Campus," where he outlines a comprehensive plan for integrating entrepreneurship education within college curricula. His talk at Fairmont State University will delve into the vital role of entrepreneurship in fostering growth and sustainability in higher education institutions.
